Dr. Amy L. Brown moved to Colorado in August 2017 after earning her Ph.D. in Religion and Nature from the University of Florida. Her research focused on pregnancy and the different ways anti-abortion Christians, feminists, and evolutionary biologists describe the relationship between a mother and fetus. She has spent the last 10 years teaching university courses on Religion and Women’s Studies and spends her free time fighting for progressive causes, particularly around reproductive rights and justice.
Currently, she teaches GED math courses at Emily Griffith Technical College and is a coordinator at American Water Works Association. She also enjoys crafting, singing, and enjoying sunny Colorado.
